Roadside Assistance at Philadelphia International Airport
A car left in an airport garage for a week is a car with a dead battery waiting to happen. Here's how roadside help works at PHL.
The most common PHL calls
Dead batteries after a long trip, keys locked inside during the scramble to unload, and flats picked up on the approach roads. Fuel delivery happens too — drivers arriving on fumes because they planned to fill up after drop-off.
Tell us exactly where the car is
This matters more at PHL than anywhere else in the city. When you call, give us your terminal, the garage or lot name, the level, and the row or nearest pillar marking. "Garage C, level 4, row J, silver Honda Accord" gets a technician to you. "The airport" does not.
Access rules are real
PHL is controlled property. Airport rules, garage clearance limits, traffic patterns and access restrictions may affect whether and how quickly a service vehicle can reach your car. We are an independent roadside company with no special access to secured airport areas, and we will tell you upfront if a location is one we cannot enter.
On the terminal roadways, follow instructions from airport police and personnel. They are managing an active curb.
Before you fly out next time
If your battery is more than three years old and your car is going to sit in a garage for a week in January, get it tested first. It is a five-minute check that prevents the call.
